This took a few hours, on and off. I was heavily inspired by the fantastic work of celsojunior and ReedyEvolved, whom I've been fans of for a long time, I strongly advise you to check out their galleries. I've wanted to make something like this for a long time, and finally bothered to do it today.

Great job. I love this overall style and I'm a big fan of peices like this. It evokes emotions which is a good thing.
