Nebula Help Needed

Wed Jul 19, 2006, 11:18 AM
If any good space artists read this (unlikely, I know), then would they mind taking time out of their schedule to teach me how to create a simple nebula? I've read Alyn's walkthrough and I've tried damn near all the techniques he mentioned, but nothing seems to work for me.

DKF's "Heart", and a couple of things by Mr-Frenzy and Broke NL awoke something in me, a desire to create something as good as those.

So if anyone reads this and thinks they can help me out, tell me here or drop me a note. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

On one of your early space scenes, Proximity I think it was, you did a cool nebula/explosion sort of thing, and you'd only been doing it for 3 days. That's far from 'terrible'.
